There is an exciting new opportunity for a Nurse Manager of an Oncology/ Neurology specialty Medical Surgical Floor at a great hospital located in a vibrant Eastern Washington community.

The Neurology Oncology Unit Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of a 30 bed unit. The Neurology Oncology RN Manager will have a strong and highly skilled nursing staff with a patient ratio of 5 patients to 1 nurse. There is a charge nurse on duty every shift to assist the Nurse Manager with staff education, and department improvement projects.
The Manager of the Oncology/Neuro unit reports to the Director of Medical Surgical Services and will collaborate with other MedSurg unit managers on different floors to devise departmental goals and objectives that align with the organization’s mission of excellence and community involvement. The Nurse Manager of Oncology Neurology will schedule nurses, hire and retain staff, budget and direct quality initiatives in compliance with regulatory standards.
