A fantastic opportunity for an immediate opening for a Nurse Manager Emergency Services has just become available in the Greater Chicagoland area at a prestigious short-term acute care hospital.
The Nurse Manager Emergency Services will work in a 300+ bed non-profit acute care hospital that offers state of the art medical care. This award winning medical center offers patients excellent cardiovascular, surgical, and trauma care. This medical facility has been serving the population for over 100 years and continues to meet the demands of the changing population.
The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services will provide direction over a busy Level I Trauma Center that sees over 30000 visits a year. This 25-bed department also has an 8 bed Fast Track area to best control bed flow and patient needs.
The Nursing Manager of the ED will serve as a resource, leader, and advisor over the unit, and report to the Nursing Director of Emergency Services. The Nurse Manager Emergency Services will have a rotating Emergency Charge Nurse and Emergency Department Nurse Educator to help manage the busy unit. An experienced Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency Department is desired for this important position.
