Reporting to the Nursing Administration of the hospital system, the Assistant Nursing Director of Long Term Acute Care will oversee the several different Long Term Acute Care facilities in the area, with a long term goal to step into the healthcare system’s Long Term Care Director of Nursing role. The Assistant LTC Director will oversee two of the main, nearby long term care facilities, providing day to day oversight, quality assurance, hospital compliance, and continuous education for the department. The Long Term Acute Care Assistant Nurse Director plays a key role in delivering the overall best patient experience and will help develop and implement new initiatives to improve the quality of care in the unit. The ideal nursing candidate will have experience in a management role, preferably in a long term acute care facility.
